Our Story

In 2005 Adam Witty had an entrepreneurial itch. At the insistence of mentor Pat Williams, Adam scratched that itch and founded what is today Advantage|ForbesBooks, the largest Authority Marketing company in the world. Advantage supports over 2,000 Authors under its Advantage, Business Journals Books, and ForbesBooks brands. With the Core Purpose of Growing Entrepreneurs and Businesses to Benefit All Mankind, Adam and the Advantage team have been laser focused on helping entrepreneurs grow their businesses with better marketing for the past 15 years. Including hundreds of dentists!

In 2018, Adam had the unique opportunity to acquire the business of another mentor, marketing legend Dan Kennedy. Magnetic Marketing helps entrepreneurs implement direct response marketing in their business. Direct response is multi-step, multi-media marketing with clear, compelling offers, direct calls to action, and response mechanisms in which ROI and results can be quickly measured. Direct response aims for the consumer to take an immediate action whereas brand or image advertising requires no action from the consumer at all. Rolling up his sleeves and working intimately with Advantage|ForbesBooks and Magnetic Marketing Members, Adam learned up close the challenges dentists face in marketing and growing a practice.
